The online add on integration between coreplus and Xero provides you with a powerful and cost effective solution for generating financial, BAS and Payroll reports.
Recently, a change in Xero has prompted a change in the settings page of the sync from coreplus to Xero.
Xero has made the tax type “No GST” obsolete, and replaced it with a tax type called “BAS Exempt”. This tax type has a similar effect to the “No GST” tax type: as the name suggests, transactions with that tax type are excluded from the BAS statement.
The sync settings page in coreplus has been updated to include the new “BAS Exempt” tax type. The “No GST” tax type is no longer available. Customers who have previously used it are advised to update their settings to one of the other available tax types.
We don’t offer accounting advice and recommend that you discuss with your Accountant which tax code to use. Please refer to our previous blog post for more information about the impact of tax types on Xero’s BAS activity reporting.
